we’re trained actors. except we don’t steal scenes. we don’t show off. we use our acting talent to fit in. we’re as talented at this as chameleons. as animals who change to hide from predators. to go unnoticed. what, whom, are we still changing color for? it is no longer dangerous for you to stay your own color. isn’t it? if it’s not, can’t you get out? can’t you find the support and environment in which you can show your colors? can you find a way to get there? sacrifice whatever you must.
